I cruised with my husband and 10 yr old son. We were first time cruisers so didn’t know what to expect but were not disappointed at all. The ocean view balcony room was a good size for us. We were deck 10 which was a good middle point for everything. The facilities on board were top notch and millions to do for everyone. We barely scratched the surface of these. My son is v active so loads for him to do! I’ve read mixed reviews re MDR and customer service & I feel compelled to even the field by posting a glowing review for both our dining staff (Jing & Brian) and room attendant (Gde). Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. They were all lovely, kind humans who bent over backwards to make us all, and my son in particular, comfortable. From favourite drinks being brought to our table upon sight of us arriving in the dining room to meals amended to make sure everything suited my son. Taking the time to make sure everything was 10 out of 10 always. Likewise for our room attendant. He often had a surprise left for my son which delighted him and he and always had time for a chat. All are a credit to their families and the company and 100% are right up there on the list of things we enjoyed most about our trip. They definitely made our holiday.
This ship is very large with lots to offer! We saw Mama Mia, Blades and Aqua80 and all were amazing! So much better than what you would normally see on a cruise ship. I have taken many cruises in the past and with each year I see the overall quality of the food offered in the main dining room going down. I would call the offerings mediocre at best as they really want to upsell you on their specialty dining. Overall the level of service was good but not great. While everyone was incredibly polite and friendly sometimes we had to make multiple requests to get things done including getting hot water in our cabin. When we boarded the ship in various ports there were usually people around wearing vests saying Ask Me but it seems that when asked basic questions including what time does the port shuttle run until or where can I find this they were generally unable to answer these types of questions and we had to seek out alternative help.
I have cruised a variety of ships, more than 10 cruises. This was a remarkable ship and a perfect week! The ship was spotless, the best cabin attendant I've had. We had 4 in a cabin with an ocean balcony. He tended to our room twice a day to make up and take down beds. We ate in many venues. Loved The Mason Jar! We were 3 generations. Everyone was absolutely thrilled with the activities, arcade, pools, shops, beverage packages, photo opportunities, shows excursions-every day (2 were 10 hours long). One day at sea and some afternoons, plenty of wonderful places to sit quietly with a drink and a book. I loved Central Park with the flowers, sounds of birds, very little foot traffic. Lots of people on the ship, but didn't feel like it. We waited for an elevator twice(after an excursion and after a show). Spain, France, Italy, wonderful excursion choices. Between the four of us, I don't think there was an area of the ship we did not visit. All of us agreed, this was the best ship we have ever been on! What a week!

YOUTH FACILITIES & FACILITIES
Adventure Ocean youth facilities are designed to meet the needs of younger guests. Kids will have a blast at our complimentary, award-winning Adventure Ocean® Youth Program. We separate kids and teens into age groups so that they can enjoy specialised programs made to expand their imaginations, in interactive, multi-room spaces designed just for them. It’s an incredibly fun, totally edu-taining adventure.
FAMILY-TIME DINING - My Family Time Dining is offered for the first seating time in our main dining room, for children of ages three to 11. Kids enjoy their meal within 40 minutes of seating, before heading to the evening's Adventure Ocean activities. The program starts on the second evening that you're onboard. After that, you can use it each evening or whenever you wish.
