Ship Reviews

Exceptional service, great food, great ports. Ship, despite being older, is in great shape. Suites are roomy with more than adequate space in bathroom and closet (though not as ideal as newer ships). Staff was excellent - friendly, responsive, anticipating needs, etc. This applies from cabin steward to restaurants to bars. Entertainment was mixed, with some headliners being great, some just ok. Production shows need to be updated more frequently. Itinerary was great. Though I had done several ports before, the South Pacific never fails to impress with its beauty. Shore excursions were generally quite good. Fitness center could be significantly improved with just a few minor changes. Didn't use the spa because the services are way overpriced (outside concession company). Restaurants performed well with regard to service, food selection/quality and presentation. Specialty restaurants are always a treat, including Sette Mari. Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. We used our own air so no comment on that or transfers.

Had a great time on an older but fun ship. The food was excellent-especially the Italian restaurant Sette Mare. There were plenty of lecturers on the ship, as we had an abundance of sea days. My favorite lecture series was by an interesting man named Peter LaSorsa who gave a series on travel safety. It was very informative, thought-provoking and entertaining as well. He had a great stage presence. Also there was a nice series on Photography by Vanessa. We missed some ports or arrived late due to weather-but that is beyond anyones control. The nightly shows were very good and pretty well attended by the ship. The staff on the ship were excellent and who doesn't like free laundry--my favorite perk. ALso the wifi was very good on the ship and there were no issues. I would like a larger gym but it is what it is. Overally it was a fun cruise.

Because the Voyager is one of Regents older ships it is still in good shape for its age. The crew are just amazing, from the butler, suite attendants, bar staff, restaurant staff, they are so accommodating, the word no is never an option. Our suite was a Penthouse suite, we used the upgrade offer which we thought was good value. The suite was aft, right at the back of the ship. There was some vibration and noise but we did get used to it. The food on board was amazing, served hot with plenty of choice. The entertainment was very good however, one Scottish comedian didn't go down well, he was rather abrasive. We had 9 sea days but we found we had enough to occupy ourselves, we joined in the games on board. All in all a very good time, embarkation was a breeze. Bye for now. Cheers

Unrivaled onboard space in all staterooms. Such a welcome change especially just coming off a Celebrity ship where the wife and I had to negotiate who gets what drawers and coat hangers. Not so on Regents. The crew members Unrivaled Hospitality at Sea are the best, so accommodating to meet guests needs. Our cabin stewards, Jennie and Deepu, were always asking if we needed anything. Cruise Director Callie Smit has such a shiny personality maybe only outdone by his shoes. Captain “Stan”, Stanisla De Lacombe, so friendly and welcoming. He and crew making sure that we were safe, so reassuring. Notable events: Pool Deck Barbecue, ABBA Dance Party, Block Party, Afternoon Tea, Krew Kapers, excellent excursions and lecturers, oh yes and get your laundry done every day if you want. Recognizing the following: I Nyoman - smoothies every morning. Abraham - Compass Rose maitre d George - La Veranda maitre d I Gusti - Voyager Lounge Robert - Pool Bar
