Nice boat, great crew…good food and activities. Lots to do but we took four days to figure that out. Have cruised Viking Ocean, Royal Caribbean's better ships. This was a good value and enjoyable. Clean ship, good dining mostly. The speciality rooms are Great, the main dining room , Manhattan is noisy and rushed. Food is still good, though . We had a real horror show on an excursion…the Bermuda Triangle Nighttime Cruise …it rained…wind was up….no one’s fault…..but the deck had folding chairs! Nothing to grasp as we plowed along in the dark…there was nothing to see but a few fish….and little else…it was wet, windy and dangerous….but…part of the adventure! When one takes the time to read the schedule of events, one can really enjoy time at sea…there is a lot to do…the games at night in the open area were terrific..great staff but they needed more barkeeps at peak hours. The staff is great, buffets are excellent and the ship is immaculate , great interactions between crew and guests. Boarding and disembarking were smooth and well handled. Plenty of food and drink when you needed it. Will do NCL again. We liked them.
I don’t understand how all the people who posted bad reviews for this ship. We had a very good time. The crew members were excellent and always acknowledged me and my family by name. Not all of the food was excellent but it was good or better than most lines. The room steward was very friendly and attentive as well as accommodating. Our servers were excellent and very Friendly. I’m glad we took the trip. The price was right. I almost always over tipped. Always get a balcony. Some are smaller but the views from the Fourteen floor are excellent. We stayed on at Nassau. Loved having the ship to ourselves. Great styrrup cay was fun. I love having drinks at the beach and the weather was perfect. The taco truck had excellent food service. I loved watching the intoxicated adults chasing the iguanas. Too funny. I would go back to ncl for a longer cruise. I’ve been on many a ship. All have good and bad points. Nothing ruined my cruise nor would I would have needed to be derogatory for any small things. Cruise On!!
This was our first cruise. We loved it! The crew were very helpful and friendly. Security team takes safety for all seriously which we really appreciated. There is a lot of upsell from crew associated with purchases: wine, art, jewelry, fitness, spa, etc. Be prepared to firmly and politely say no if not interested as we felt as if we were dining at a used car dealership after ordering a bottle of wine that didn’t cost $50+ by the sommelier team. They would not stop pressuring us to buy a more expensive wine during our last dinner which was very annoying and not appreciated despite telling them no several times. Fitness areas were far better than what we expected. Waterfront outside on level 8 was perfect for walking. Skip the elevators and take the stairs. The crew built a community for all ages to enjoy with seminars on just about everything from arts and crafts, health and wellness, and building community. We will definitely sail with NCL again.
