This was a "Back To Back" cruise, having departed on 3/22/2026 previously out of Thailand's Port Cham Bang. The Norwegian Sun was at port in Singapore for about ten days before this sailing date. So the ship's crew got to visit Singapore. If your not sure smaller ships can be as much fun, then you need to try the Norwegian Sun. The Staff a be dbcrew are outstanding in all areas of the ship. So many friendly and helpful people onboard This was a repositioning cruise heading to Maldives and onwards across the Equator towards Africa. Norwegian Sun gave everyone a Certificate for crossing the equator. Very much appreciated and not that easy to acquire. Many guests from England onboard to link each trip segment around Africa onwards towards the Baltic Region. Norwegian Sun is a smaller vessel, don't let that sway your decision. I understand that this ship will be sold in 2028, while her sister ship, the Norwegian Sky will be sold in 2027. First started cruises in 1997 with Carnival Destiny. Stopped after about five sailings. Here in 2026 started with a mini 5 day on Royal Caribbean out of Singapore. Now booking cruises with Norwegian because many possibilities in Southeast Asia. The Norwegian Sun is everything you could want. Spinnaker Lounge is outstanding if you favor quite time in the morning. Things heat up on the Pool Deck on deck 11. Nighttime Entrainment is available in the Bliss Lounge, Spinnaker Lounge,Windgammer or other smaller venues. Guest Services is located on Deck 5. My favorite place to enjoy fresh air was the walking/jogging track around the ship on level 6. The speciality restaurants are deck 12 which have amazing cuisine. My favorites were the Italian, French and Steakhouse. Don't forget the deck 11, garden Cafe for breakfast and lunch. Also the Four Seasons & Seven Seas dinning hall avail for Five Star Dinning. Room Service is efficient and fast. I was using an electric scooter during this trip. Everywhere was easy to navigate. They have sliding doors and ramps through the ship. In the Garden Cafe they have special handicap tables near the entrance and aft section. After dinner move to Deck 6 for Entertainment from the Infinity Band. Chelsea with guitar solo or Tim on Piano. Several other Duo groups as well. Chelsea does a great presentation in the theater with a Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac tribute. Final destination was Port Lewis, Madagascar. Debarkation day was slightly disorganized as many guests decided to leave around 830am. Happy Sailings
