Norwegian Jewel

As the namesake of our "Jewel Class" cruise ships, you can bet Norwegian Jewel has it all. As well as offering some of the largest suites at sea, there are staterooms to accommodate every style. When it comes to entertainment, this ship's filled with excitement: a large variety of dining options, vibrant bars and nightclubs, and that's just the beginning. Come aboard and venture into the wild on an Alaska Cruise. Go from scenic views to city views on an Asia Cruise. Toss your timetable to the breeze on a Caribbean cruise. Explore old traditions and stunning towns when you cruise to the Mexican Riviera. Or experience unique and immersive itineraries on an Extraordinary Journey. Whichever destination you choose, get ready for the adventure of a lifetime!

Exquisitely Refurbished

We've revamped everything from the carpets to the chandeliers and created brand new places and spaces in our most extensive ship renovation yet. Unwind in luxury and enjoy the breathtaking views from your spacious balcony in the new, exquisitely finished Haven Deluxe Owner's Suites. The brand-new Pit Stop, a 1950's American bar, takes you back to the era when classic cars sported chrome finishes. And dance the night away at Bliss Ultra Lounge, the newest hot spot on the club scene. Come aboard the newly polished Norwegian Jewel and see what makes her shine.

Ship Reviews

This is our 3rd NCL and we were two adults travelling together, had a wonderful time. Staff were all great and very helpful. Ship was slightly confusing where you could not get to some areas via certain elevators/stairs. Embarkation and Disembarkation were very smooth. A few negatives- bar staff- especially around the pools were understaffed. No pool service either. You end up waiting in line for drinks for a very very long time. I will add that I like the fact there were lineups- and none of the butting in front of each other trying to grab the bartenders attention. Food in the main dining was uninspired and had not vegan options- would have been nice to have one thing that did not contain dairy. Our cabin was small but clean and well stocked. The Spinnaker lounge was our favorite indoor venue. Lots of windows and wonderful seating. They hosted a really great band with lots of energy there most nights- worth going to see!

Traveled with my wife and two of friends since elementary school and their husbands. One couple are regular cruises and the other couple were newbies. We ate more often than I was expecting in the buffet. The washy-washy crew were very entertaining. Food was good for the most part. Omelets were a little slow in the mornings, but tasty! At lunch, the pizza was decent. A lot better than I had on the Pearl in 2022. We ate at Cagney's, LaCucina and Teppanyaki and we enjoyed the food immensely. The grill cook we had at Teppanyaki had a great singing voice. The entertainment went from not so good to amazing. Ignite the Night was disappointing. Rock music with a Broadway musical vibe. The Broadway Cabaret played to the talents of the singers voices, but I think they could have chosen more known songs. Rock you Tonight was amazing. The comedian Jim Colliton was incredible. On Bermuda we did the minigolf at the Dockyard and my wife & I enjoyed the Crystal Caves & Aquarium/Zoo excursion. We spent a bit of time at Shaker's and we would tell the waitress, what we want what we really really want. She always was friendly and always smiling! Once when we are having a drink at the bar, the bottom of my glass of diet coke literally broke off and fell to the floor and the soda spilled onto the bar. I've never had that happen to me before. We played some bingo and my wife and I were one number off from getting the last day's coverall! I spent a lot of time in the casino and managed to cash in my points for a CASNext voucher. I guess I need to plan another cruise.

This was our first cruise and it exceeded our expectations. The boarding process in Boston was fast and effortless, as was getting off in Bermuda and returning home. Bermuda was beautiful — we just wish we had more time there. Arriving on a Sunday meant many shops were closed, but we enjoyed using the free Norwegian ferry to St. George’s. Our porthole stateroom on Deck 4 was small but well-designed, with plenty of storage, two closets, and a mini fridge. The onboard entertainment was fun and lively — we even got a kick out of “Mr. Sexy Legs” and other silly contests, game shows, karaoke, the rock show, and the comedian. We also loved spending time in The Bliss Lounge, Magnum, and Spinnaker areas of the ship - tons of hang out spaces with great ocean views. We used the gym and had a fantastic couples massage. A favorite hangout was the shaded area above the pool deck — perfect for reading and watching the ocean. Staff was very friendly and helpful in all areas. Dining was a little hit or miss. We liked The Palace for its old-school feel and ocean views and smaller portions so you could enjoy app, dinner and dessert. O'Sheehan’s was underwhelming (soggy nachos, barely toasted Reuben). The buffet offered decent variety, especially in the Great Outdoors area, which had great views. The $60 upcharge for Cagney’s was worth it, but we skipped the other specialty restaurants to save money. We did opt for the beverage package which allowed us to try new drinks. The ship didn’t feel especially kid-friendly. Limited kid spaces and a cramped arcade led to lots of unsupervised roaming — running in halls, elevator rides, and packed hot tubs. More a parenting issue than a cruise flaw, but it affected the overall vibe. Frankly, I would prefer fewer kids and would enjoy an adults only cruise. Carnival or Disney seems more kid-friendly. The friendly staff, relaxing spaces, and fun entertainment made this a memorable trip. We also appreciated the smaller ship size (about 2,500 passengers), which gave it a more intimate feel.
