Celebrity Edge marks a turning point in our approach to ship design. From the very first sketches to experiencing those designs in a virtual reality setting, every step was done in 3-D. From the incredible new Magic Carpet® to the private plunge pools in our new 2-story Edge Villas, we could design the most refined ship at sea. The unique outward facing design breaks from traditional ship design. Aboard, you’ll feel more connected with the sea and the places you’ll visit in a variety of spaces ranging from our Edge Staterooms with Infinite Verandas®, to our reimagined, terraced pool deck that offers even greater views of the destinations and shimmer of ocean.

First time experience for us with Celebrity and part of a get together with some friends. We opted for this cruise more to do with convenience out and back from Sydney rather than the specific destinations (as we usually do). We had expectations for our cruise with Celebrity given their stellar reputation and the pretty outstanding reviews were borne out and justified. To date The Edge is the nicest vessel with have cruised on and we were thoroughly impressed and happy with the design, decor and presentation across the ship. Our captain, Captain Costas was very entertaining, informative and truly an ambassador for the Celebrity family. Cabin - We loved the infinity type cabin with the innovative balcony window, which just made for glorious views throughout the trip. The layout with the bed closest to the balcony was a big winner for us as opposed to having the sofa/lounge closer to the balcony. This set up gives you an enhanced feeling of space from the more traditional set up and we had no issues with it. The bathroom, whilst compact was very well designed and the layout very functional. Our enclosed glass shower is easily the best we have experienced having now done quite a few cruises. No cold shower curtain, water everywhere on the floor and terrific water pressure and instant heat - couldn't fault and would love the same at home. We were fortunate to have a wonderful and very stealthy cabin attendant Allen on floor 6, who operated like a ninja in keeping the room well attended. We really liked the layout and overall decor with special mention for the aptly named Eden area at the back of the ship - just spectacular and a great place to read/relax. There is quite a lot of up or on selling throughout the ship/cruise, the usual photos/art/jewellery and speciality restaurants etc. But we didn't find this aspect as pushy as on some other lines. The prices on Celebrity are for the most part above our experience with PC or HAL and with an additional 2% to the drinks gratuity tax so 20% - we found this a bit off putting. Service - was of a very high standard generally throughout the ship and I'd say on par with Princess and a tad under our recent HAL experience (who seem to be a little more on point and proactive) Dining - we have to acknowledge the dining experience on Celebrity was pretty good overall and improved a little as the cruise continued and we got more familiar with the lay of the land. We tried all 4 of the MDR during the cruise and Normandie and Cosmopolitan were the ones we preferred. We had a less enjoyable experience at Tuscan with some very average meals and left disappointed. Celebrities catering team did recognise this and did go out of their way to address the concerns. Special mention to a few of the excellent staff including, Reza and Jelena in Cyprus, Mini and her team in Normandie; - Reza, Mini, Jelena and Khola at breakfast in Cosmopolitan and one of the head matre'd's - Sanjev for his great assistance with booking some specialty dining. Specialty dining; - Raw On5 - which is mainly seafood/sashimi type of menu - nice oysters, mixed tuna plate and Fish & Chips for lunch - the F&C was pretty uninspiring, batter not crispy and not real hot and the better half felt a little unwell after the oysters/tuna. Didn't feel the experience was worth the extra premium. Fine Cut Steakhouse - and the overall experience was very good. Five out of 6 had great steaks or lobster dishes including huge Tomahawk. Unfortunately I lucked out with the Ribeye - tasted great but had too much grizzle/fat so a lot of waste for my taste. One of the groups ribeye was way better. Service was good but not great - we had a small wine bottle spill by one of the staff (just an unfortunate accident) but did lose about a glass of wine. It would have been nice if staff offered a complementary replacement glass. (not forth coming) Eden - this dining experience was very much elevated from MDR and other venues and for me the loveliest dining on any ship. The service from Peitro and crew was fantastic and the food matched, wonderful and tasty starters and mouth watering mains. With some very elegant additional touches and flair just added to a memorable experience. As a disclaimer Celebrity did offer up to 30% and later 50% off some of these venues as the cruise progressed and to which we happily took advantage. For the Eden I'd be tempted to pay full freight as it was that good, not so much the others. With the exception of Eden - the overall experience didn't quite match HAL but it's pretty close. Entertainment was along usual fare and pretty much as expected with really good headliner shows and performers - a couple a little less. It was noted the artists and main shows were all almost exactly the same as on this cruise in Jan 2025 and Celebrity should look at rotating some performers or at least varying the performance content. The around ship performers weren't up to either PC or HAL and a couple unfortunately not great. Embarkation/Disembarkation - Sydney - spot on and pretty flawless, well organised and sorted with minimal delay or wait times. (Boston could learn something here). Special mention and a really big thank you and pat on the back to Celebrity and their staff in providing a superior level of service and care to one of our less mobile members and to other guests who required additional assistance and support - they were absolutely fantastic. Did we enjoy the cruse - well we sure did - so much so we and some of our group stumped up the deposit for a future cruise (destinations unknown) and the others already have one cruise in the pipeline in Jan 2026 taking them up to 3 cruises in 18 months.
My wife and I recently disembarked from Celebrity Edge in Sydney after a memorable 19-night “Tahitian Treasures” voyage from Honolulu. While the itinerary included stunning destinations—most of which we’d visited before—the real draw for us was the ship itself. This was our third cruise aboard Celebrity Edge, and our fourth with Celebrity Cruises overall. Having previously cruised with Silversea and Crystal (one and seven times respectively), we’ve experienced the luxury end of the cruising spectrum. However, since switching to Celebrity in December 2023, we’ve found our "sweet-spot": premium cruising with Celebrity. Stateroom: Infinity Veranda Wins Us Over For this cruise, we chose an Infinity Veranda Stateroom for the first time. After reading reviews and watching videos, we knew these rooms sparked strong opinions—people either loved them or didn’t. Within ten minutes of stepping inside, we agreed: we loved it. The seamless blend of indoor and outdoor space felt fresh and modern, and it suited our cruising style perfectly. Dining: Variety, Quality, and Value Celebrity’s four Main Dining Rooms—Cosmopolitan (globally inspired), Cyprus (Greek), Normandie (French), and Tuscan (Italian), offer consistently good food with plenty of variety. Each restaurant features regional specialties alongside classic starters like French Onion Soup, Caesar Salad, and Shrimp Cocktail. Entrées including Broiled Salmon, Grilled Chicken Breast, and New York Sirloin Steak are always available. With eleven sea days on this itinerary, we opted for the Unlimited Specialty Dining Package. It was excellent value and allowed us to revisit favorites like: - Eden: Best crab cakes on the ship. - Fine Cut: The 9 oz Bone-In Filet Mignon was my top pick, with Prime Rib a close second. - Le Grand Bistro: Possibly the best burger at sea. - Raw on 5: We loved the oysters, crab claws, and California rolls. Activities & Entertainment: Spoiled for Choice As you can see from the photos of the Celebrity Today activities and entertainment guise for October 12th, we were truly "spoiled for choice" when it came to activities and entertainment aboard Celebrity Edge. From sunrise to late evening, the daily program was packed with options to suit every interest and energy level. Whether it was guided hikes and deep-water snorkeling excursions in the morning, cultural visits and free time ashore in the afternoon, or engaging briefings, elegant dinners, or "world-class" entertainment in The Theater in the evening, each day offered a seamless blend of adventure, relaxation, and enrichment. The variety and pacing of events made it easy to personalize our experience—whether we wanted to be active, social, or simply unwind. All Included Package: Exceptional Value We always choose Celebrity’s All Included Package, and even with upgrades to the Premium Beverage Package and Unlimited Specialty Dining, we feel the value is outstanding—especially compared to fares we’ve paid on luxury lines. The cost-to-experience ratio is hard to beat. Service: AMAZING Despite Celebrity Edge hosting nearly three times as many passengers as Crystal Serenity or Symphony, the service was consistently attentive and personal. In fact, I recently emailed the following to a friend from our Crystal days: “You’ll probably find this all-but-impossible to believe, but the service Margaret & I receive onboard a Celebrity cruise ship is almost as good as we always received when onboard Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony.” Final Thoughts: We’re Hooked In the short time we’ve been cruising with Celebrity, my wife & I have fallen in love with the line. So much so that we already have four future cruises booked with Celebrity. If you're seeking a premium cruise experience with excellent service, diverse dining, and delivering exceptional value-for-money, we highly recommend giving Celebrity Cruises a try.
Excellent cruise!! First time on Celebrity and we will definitely be back! Can’t say enough about The Edge! I have been on many other cruise lines, and I think Celebrity is by far the best bang for your buck. The food was great!! The buffet was configured perfectly. On other ships the buffet can be a major cluster problem. All of the workers were friendly and helpful. Our cabin was the perfect size and had a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed the ports and we did an excursion that we used with our on board credits. We went to most of the theater shows and guest entertainer shows. We thought the singers and dancers were excellent. Very talented group. The guest entertainment was also great. My favorite was a magician comedian. On the five straight sea days there was so much to do and we enjoyed those days more than we thought we would. I can’t wait to book another Edge class cruise.

CELEBRITY SELECT DINING
Dine on your time
On our Celebrity Edge® Series ships, we may have reinvented the main restaurant experience with four different venues, but we haven’t changed the way you plan your dining. With Celebrity Select Dining you can choose early seating at 6:00 P.M., late seating at 8:30 P.M., or dine whenever you want. You’ll be assigned one of the four main restaurants, while having the option to dine in the other three upon request and availability.
Onboard Celebrity Edge® and Celebrity Apex℠ you’ll discover ancient European cities, the balmy islands of the Caribbean∘ and so much more. And when you’ve had enough of exploring, there’s your decadent floating hotel to return to every night.

Kids and Teen Programs
The fun starts at Camp At Sea, our onboard entertainment centre and program designed exclusively for kids ages 3 to 12. Open every day from 9:00am - 10:00pm, Camp at Sea offers kids the opportunity to participate in a number of entertaining activities, including treasure hunts, arts and crafts, sports, and theme parties, all under the supervision of our experienced youth staff. For our teen cruisers, the Teen Club is the place to be. At the Teen Club, they can make new friends and participate in events like video game competitions, teen parties, and culinary classes. Activities are overseen by our team of teen counsellors and offered throughout the day, allowing teens to come and go as they please.
Entertainment On Board
There’s no shortage of entertaining venues on board. Spend the day swimming in the pool with the kids, then watch the sunset while relaxing in one of our elevated hot tubs. Gather on board for movie night under the stars, silent disco parties, hot glass classes, and archery tournaments —so many activities to share.
